Support animal rescue efforts through Hawaii Animal Kuleana Alliance

Hawai'i Animal Kuleana Alliance: Animal Search and Rescue Services

Emergency Services For When You and Your Pets Need Them Most. HAKA cultivates the relationship between our community & its animals; offering integrated services, networks, & disaster & emergency rescue services

We are helping with the rescue of animals on Maui. HAKA's Animal Search And Rescue team (ASAR) joined Hawaii County's Animal Control and Protection Agency officers and director, Regina DoDaro Romero Serrano, along with Dr. Maria Jose from Ali'i Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Allex Cordero from Kapa'au Veterinary Center, and Dr. Norm Goody to support Maui Humane Society and the relief efforts in west Maui.

If you want to support HAKA's ASAR team working on Maui, please consider volunteering or donating today.

Anytime Volunteer - Become a HAKA Volunteer or Volunteer with HAKA on Maui

HAKA is always on the lookout for dedicated, compassionate volunteers for a variety of roles. From administrative tasks to animal transport and caretaking, our volunteer teams are the lifeblood of our operations. Please fill out our volunteer form today, and someone will be in touch soon.

Emergency-Only Volunteer - Become an Emergency Volunteer

Helping during disasters and emergencies is what HAKA was created for. We are always looking for dedicated and motivated members to add to our emergency teams, both in-field and behind the scenes. The training and field work are a big commitment, but the difference that you can make is worth the effort.

Animal Foster - Foster an Animal

Interested in fostering? We often need folks to provide temporary homes, care, and plenty of cuddles for cats, dogs, pigs, sheep, rabbits, and more! If you can open your heart and home (temporarily) to an animal in need, please fill out our foster form below. We will reach out when we have a good match for you.

Donate Today: Donations received fund our animal rescue services to ensure we can be on call 24/7 and the tools necessary to conduct these rescue services. Donating today saves an animal tomorrow.
